I Am Do Filmmaker editor Sam Thom is meeting Belle Doyle, Creative Scotland’s location department manager.
She’s visiting Aberdeen today (Thursday) and will be meeting up with Marie Shaw, film officer for Aberdeen City and Shire, and others.
Sam will take the opportunity to grab a podcast interview which will be published this coming Monday.
(Sorry to local film director David Keith whose podcast interview has been bumped to the following Monday!)
Belle has lots to say about broader issues of how Scotland markets itself as a filmmaking destination, how much it brings to the economy and, yes, of course, big film productions like World War Z, which brought Brad Pitt to Glasgow in summer.
Check out the podcast on Monday.
