In 2010 Stuart had the idea to create a festival of documentary film in Edinburgh and over a matter of months, and along with a small team of committed individuals, he founded EdinDocs.
Now, plenty of people have suggested we need one here in the North East of Scotland in their feedback to I Am Do Filmmaker, but how difficult is it to set one up?
Well, it’s a lot of work, according to Stuart, but it’s also interesting, exciting and rewarding. In this podcast interview Stuart gives a step-by-step account of how he did it.
