A hard-hitting, warts-and-all drama about the destructive power of drug addiction, is how I’m interpreting a film in production by Dons Dee Productions.
Nicci and Dave from DDP spent some time describing the feature during an interview we made at March’s Aberdeen Actors and Directors networking evening.
(There’s a link at the end of this article.)
They’re still in pre-production: there’s a first draft of a script, and a second is underway. They’re also interviewing former drug addicts to inform their movie.
These guys have worked together on movies before (I don’t know why but I didn’t get surnames, or links to a YouTube channel, so you’ll have to take my word for all this!):
Dave Wood is the screenwriter
Mike Silva is the camera/tech guy
There was a guy called David there during the interview, but he was a an actor they have worked with in the past – sorry, I got confused with names, there
I’ll get some more info at the next networking event if they’re there.
