It’s always a relief when people stop and give an interview for the IADF podcast.
Like Peter Forbes and Stephen Horne for example: There they were, at the ACTVAVPSAFC after party (that’s Aberdeen College TV and video production students’ annual film showcase…cough), standing, chatting, minding their own business.
Then I appear, waving a microphone at their throats like it’s a starving ferret.
This interview is just a quick chat about the showcase and student films.
I hope to catch Peter at some point in the future, since he’s written some interesting screenplays and his name has come up with other North East filmmakers.
Here’s a short trailer for Downing, currently on the festival circuit. And good luck to Peter, who’s moving to Edinburgh soon (if he’s not there already).
Stephen Horne’s a regular at the monthly Aberdeen Actors and Directors networking event at the Belmont.
He graduated from Aberdeen College TV production course in 2011, but returned as a part-time student to develop his filmmaking skills. This is his film that was shown at the student showcase.
